Cebu as one of the Leading Tourist Destinations in the Philippines

Cebu is a lush island situated in the center of the Philippine archipelago. As one of the greatest tourist destinations in the Philippines and is considered to be the world's most approved tourist destinations.

Appealed by the island’s scene, the Portuguese navigator Ferdinand Magellan landed there and transformed the ruler and chiefs to Christianity. Magellan was later massacred in the island by the locals. The island has limited level land except for the Bogo Plain in the far north, which is mainly a market sugarcane area and is bisected by a range of not high volcanic hills. Aside from the large Cebu island, the province also comprised 167 smaller islands like Olango, Mactan, Camotes, Malapascua, and the Bantayan Islands. Aside to Cebu City, the extensive areas on Cebu are Talisay City, Danao City, Lapu-Lapu City, Toledo City, and Mandaue City.

Bohol and Cebu were hit by potent 7.2 magnitude earthquake which left more than 100 dead and devastated some buildings, including 5 aged churches in October 2012. The people of the Central Visayas is abundantly teen with about 37 percent of its population below 10 years old. The Cebuano language is spoken in Cebu, as well as in major areas of the Visayas, including Bohol. Cebu has some of the greatest beaches in the country and it is also home to a variety of aged, religious, and cultural sites that you can see in Cebu City tours. There are also followers of Islam, Buddhism, Iglesia Filipina Independiente, and Hinduism aside from the superior of its population are Roman Catholic followed by more than 90% of Cebuanos. The wooden image of Santo Niño de Cebú, the oldest Christian image in the Philippines, is venerated and enshrined at the Basilica of Santo Niño. According the historical documents, the wooden statue of the Santo Niño was offered to the wife of the Rajah of Cebu by the Portuguese explorer Magellan. The Sinulog where street parades and heavy drum beats preceded by a Christian Mass is celebrated every third Sunday of January is displayed in Cebu's cultural festivity. The high school stage takes six years, from Grades 7 through to 12, taken after ending from elementary school which starts from Grades 1 to 6. Cebu has eleven extensive universities each with a number of college branches oftenly throughout the capital, Cebu City, and more than a dozen other schools and universities practicing in various courses. The best time to go to Cebu would be from January to April if you are planning to see to do water activities or go to beaches. The weather is not too hot and there is less chance of rain during this time.
